BEST PHONES OF 2019
2019 has been the year of smartphones with tech gaunt
coming out with their high-end phones, new smartphones specially designed for
gaming, and this year many new manufacturers like Realme, Xiaomi , etc. have
also contributed to the mid-range phone market forcing the bigger manufacturers
like Samsung, Apple, etc. to focus on mid range phones also.
This year the mid range phone competition and market
has increased exponentially and manufacturers have been on the verge of
battling it out to create the best spec smartphone at an attractively affordable
price to the consumer.
In this goal many manufacturers have succeeded and
many have failed miserably, manufacturers that have succeeded are Xiaomi,
Huawei, Vivo, etc.
But the manufacturer that has stood out the most and
that made the first ripples in the mid-range market is one plus whose motto is
to build the best for you with you and the best phone of 2019 according to me
is the One plus seven pro
It comes with high-end hardware as one would expect
which includes the snapdragon 855 processor 6/8 GB of RAM 128/256 GB of
storage, 6.67 inches of screen and much such high-end hardware
But the features that have stood out to me and have
made me think of this phone as the best there is to offer in 2019 among the
foldable, or higher-end smartphones are different, some of which are mentioned
below
First is
the screen which is a 6.67 inches screen that is sourced from Samsung which is
an Amoled display called fluid AMOLED by one plus but not only that the plus
point of the screen is the 90Hz refresh rate being offered by the screen which
gives a fluid lag-free experience with no latency either while gaming or normal
use
Second is
the fact that the screen is a notch-less bezel-less display that is curved
reminiscent of Samsung flagship devices which makes for a pop up front camera
whose best feature is the emergency auto close function when it senses a fall
i.e the gyro sensor senses the phone falling and pops the camera down in
milliseconds to save it from damages
Third Although
it has a 7nm snapdragon 855 processor which is a fast processor but for a
better faster experience you have got to have fast storage backing the
processor up and the 7 pro has just that as it supports UFS 3.0 storage as
opposed to UFS 2.1 storage in other smartphones which arises for faster load
times better processing and lag-free experience.
Fourth the
speakers on the phone, now many smartphone manufacturers do not consider the
on-board speakers for betterment or upgradation but one plus has provided two
front-facing speakers which support Dolby Atmos, one is at the bottom and one
is at the top earpiece section for a better overall content consumption
experience better.
Fifth the
in-screen fingerprint scanner which unlike its competitors is a relatively
fast and accurate detector and is said to unlock the phone in a mere 0.21
milliseconds which is slightly faster than the One plus 6T it accomplishes this
by being an optical rather than an ultrasonic sensor like in the Samsung galaxy
S10.
Sixth with
all its competitors offering triple-camera setups one plus has done no
different and has also jumped aboard the triple camera setup train and is
offering the primary lens being the SONY IMX 48 MP camera, a wide-angle lens
and a telephoto lens for your portraits and depth sensing. The camera also has
a night mode which might not be as good as the one provided by Huawei or apple
but its there if you want to play with it
Seven the
fast charging capability of this phone, the dash charging that was already a
fast charging option has grown into the warp charge that can charge most of the
phone in less than half-hour with the help of 30 watts warp changer provided
with the phone inbox.
Eight the operating system of the phone Oxygen OS which is a highly optimized fluid and the fast operating system that has m8nimum bloatware and a high level of
customizability for personal preferences and gets quick updates which do not
let the phone grow old.
Now this phone is my favorite phone this year and
me giving it the title of the best phone of 2019 title is surely based on my
observation and preference. You can have a different opinion than mine so let

Innovation in gaming has been ongoing along with innovation in Computers,
consoles and cell phones.
Well in a theoretical world with Google stadia you can pretty much play
games anywhere but one of the drawbacks or might I say tradeoff that comes with
cloud gam8ng is internet and Google stadia is no exception, it requires a 35
mbps connection minimum to run a game at 4K and also the PC and cellphone
version of it has yet to be optimized completely as it makes the games lag but
for television and wireless use it is highly optimized and provides better frame
rates comparatively.
