Gaming with Google Stadia

GAMING; with GOOGLE STADIA

Innovation in gaming has been ongoing along with innovation in Computers, consoles and cell phones.

With Sony and Microsoft coming up with heavily specs play stations and XBOXs and updating their gaming technologies to run any high end gaming title smoothly without latency almost with any type of screen or television has been falling a bit behind in capturing the market, but not anymore.

Google has come up with their own version of console gaming which uses any television screen cellphone or even laptop to play any high end gaming title without requiring any sort of high end specifications through cloud gaming and some nifty streaming tech and is called as  Google STADIA .

Stadia with the help of streaming technology helps stream games to your laptop ,PC or TV without any beefy hardware providing up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second for smooth gaming . It is kind of like streaming music or videos but with games that are streamed directly from Google’s data base.
Now coming to the Google stadia's founder edition it comes in at $129 and in the box you get a Chrome cast ultra a stadia controller and a dock that also has an Ethernet jack for faster and smoother gameplay.
Well in a theoretical world with Google stadia you can pretty much play games anywhere but one of the drawbacks or might I say tradeoff that comes with cloud gam8ng is internet and Google stadia is no exception, it requires a 35 mbps connection minimum to run a game at 4K and also the PC and cellphone version of it has yet to be optimized completely as it makes the games lag but for television and wireless use it is highly optimized and provides better frame rates comparatively.

All in all Google is trying to get to the top of the cloud gaming league and to me it is a step in the right direction. There is not much time that Google achieves its goal and gets to the top.
Let us know what you think of Google’s rendition of cloud gaming in the comments.

Peace.

Play station 5

Title:  PS5 What we know so far?

So, after almost seven years Mark Cerny of SONY also the head developer for the Sony PlayStation 4 has announced and confirmed the launch of PlayStation 5 at the end of the year 2019.

To our surprise this announcement without any press conference or any launch event but through some social media posts and articles and the release is confirmed in holiday season.

First talking about the new and revised dual shock controller, it has been told that the new controller is not coming with traditional old fashioned rumble motors but rather some haptic feedback motors which will help in recognizing different textures in gameplay and even the slightest of changes. This vibration technology will also be transferred to the shoulder buttons for a better experience and also the triggers have independent vibration motors to compete with the XBOX controller with just a little increase in the weight of the controller and it will also come with a touch pad, so that is a plus.
Coming to the CPU, this has an eight core AMD Chipset that is 7nm with a Zen 2 micro architecture basically it is based on AMD’s third generation desktop processors which packs same power for console gaming especially coupled with the graphics.

It uses graphics from AMD RADEON’s NAVI GPU family, the coolest thing about this is that it is said to support a really advanced light technology called Ray tracing which is to some a conspiratory topic as most CPU grade GPUs struggle with this type of graphics and for a console to have such graphics is highly uncanny and this chipset is also said to have a big bump in sound tech also.
A big upgrade with the PS5 is also that it will support 8K resolution gaming although it won’t be native 8K but an upscale version of 8K.

Another awesome confirmation about the PS5 is that it will also support backwards compatibility i.e. PS$ stuff will also be playable on the PS5, this is because the new PS5 will have some similar architecture to PS4.

Sony is also sticking with the PSVR which will be compatible with the PS5 considering PSVR is a big thing for Sony.

Sony with the new PS5 is said to be ditching the traditional spindle hand drives for solid state drives which will make load time faster for OS and games which Sony demonstrated by Pauding Spiderman on PS4 and then on PS5 and the load time decreased from 15 sec to 0.2 sec which is quite impressive.

Now at the end what I think is that the PS5 is proceed differently as compared to earlier models coming in more expensive and what I think is it is not be released this year but rather in 2020 as Black Friday is just around the corner as well as the holiday season and Sony cannot afford to cut prices in its products in its infancy stage.

This is what we know so far about the PS5, stay tuned for more.
