Toyota is going to add Alexa to its cars

to the world of automotive
Alexa is the product of Jeff Bezos giant Amazon is a virtual
assistant which was first used In Amazon Echo. It is directed to do several
thing like playing music, voice interactions and providing different
information. Alexa now wants to introduce itself to the automotive industry by
simply providing its software to be used in cars.
Toyota in this regard is the fresh entrant, before this BMW
and Audi are using this software in their various models. Toyota will be using
Alexa in its new models like Toyota Camry and Toyota Sienna to improve its
infotainment system, switch start and off your car, open doors, navigate the
route and much more through using Alexa.
But this is going to be a tough
task for Amazon AI to introduce itself into a market which is already dominated
by Google assistant and iPhones Siri. According to one of Alexa executives it
is a difficult job to compete in a well dominated market but they are working
hard for it.
Voice services are rapidly
becoming more popular and by the integration of Toyota and AI we will be able
to speak with Alexa in our cars while we are on the go. Lets hope for the best
and hope that such merging of technologies may make our life style more
comfortable.
